Cops are never around when you REALLY need them......
The longest period of time in your life will be the lag beween the moment you need a gun and the moment it is no longer needed........ if you carry responsibly, that could be the longest 1.5 seconds of your life. If you don't carry your gun, you may wait for the rest of your shortened life before the gun that puts an end to the incident arrives in a policeman's holster........

The Right to Keep and BEAR Arms is enshrined explicitly in both our State and Federal Constitutions, yet most of us are afraid to actually excercise that Right, for very good reason: there is a good chance of being arrested........ and THAT is a damned shame. III.

10 to 12 Minutes for the POLICE to arrive.
The Police station 7.1 miles away.
In a town of 118.000 residents.
