2A: US Senate Votes Approval for D.C.
Aldo:
Today is a bizarre day of gun news. First the Holder statement, then Pelosi dousing him with cold water (so to speak)....and now the U.S. Senate voting to uphold the second amendment in D.C. Here's the story on the NRA site:

This one will be interesting to follow as it continues on in the process!
Aldo:
And the vote was 62-36....and that's with a Dem controlled Senate!!! Wow! :o
huskergun:
Don't get too excited yet... It still has to go to the House for their approval. That might be a problem.

Exactly right, huskergun. That's why I noted in the first post that it will be interesting to follow as it continues on in the process. Especially since Pelosi yesterday flamed Holder for his comments about bans on assault weapons and cop-killing bullets because Holder and "O" did NOT first bring it to Her Majesty's attention for Her Majesty's blessing.
All the more reason for us to start contacting our Congress representatives from Nebraska to follow through and support what their Senate colleagues approved. And probably sooner rather than later!
Anyone know how Johanns and Nelson voted yesterday in the Senate vote? Were they part of the 62 ayes or of the 36 nays?
