Obama's socialist past

(1/2) > >>

Not necessarily 2A related, other than because of Obama's anti-gun stance.  Still, this is a very enlightening (and scary) read.  Funny how it's being completely ignored by the media.  If I was Romney I would be pouncing all over this.

This is shocking news!

Not.

Wildgoose:
The really disturbing news is that so far Romney is doing a McCain and not going into who this man really is. A hard left socialist bent on remaking America. Still after four years in office he is treated as if he popped out of the ground with no past. All of his school records or other personal information treated as if they don't exist. Insane to say the least. >:D

Ross Berck:
Its going to be hard for Romney to criticize Obama on the 2nd amendment, abortion, government intrusion or Obamacare....they should probably be running mates.  I long for the day that the republican party puts forth a presidential nominee that believes in the original intent of the Constitution.  That being said, I dont think Romney wants to destroy the country like Obama does but his policies are so similar that the end result is the same.

Very good point.  Romney differs from Obama very little, in that he believes in big government and less individual freedom.  I do believe he truly wants what's best for America, even though I think he's misguided.  I can't say the same about Obama.  This calls into question his entire view of America.

It's interesting how the first time this was brought up (in the last campaign) Kurtz was labeled as a nutjob by the Obama campaign, and they strongly denied it.  Now that there's undeniable proof I wonder how they'll try to spin it.  My guess is they'll just ignore it unless Romney or a SuperPAC runs with it and starts putting out some serious advertising.  Maybe that's our best hope for this to get out, if a third party takes it.  Personally I think it would do more damage to Obama if it came out a few months from now.  If it starts getting publicized now it will just blow over before the election.
