Reference: NE Statute 28-1409This much will get you started:
(i) The actor shall not be obliged to retreat from his dwelling or place of work, unless he was the initial aggressor or is assailed in his place of work by another person whose place of work the actor knows it to be; Mentions co-worker, but not co-resident.
You can view the whole of the statute here:
nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/browse-statutes.php.
You will need to read the whole statute to get a fuller sense of the NE "duty to retreat" statutory requirement.
And then search some relevant case law.
