USPSA Monthly Pistol Match -- September 2nd at ENGC
JTH:
Our monthly action pistol match is this coming Sunday, September 2nd, at the Eastern Nebraska Gun Club.
C'mon---72 of you came to the last Steel Challenge match we had. We know you can be safe, you can handle the range commands, and you can draw and shoot. Time to add some movement and some reloads, too!
(Yes, you do have to shoot a centerfire pistol this time. No .22s in USPSA.)
Come on out and try it---it is even MORE fun than Steel Challenge.
Setup starts at 7:15am or so (please come out and help set up!), registration closes at 8:40, safety/new shooter briefing at 8:45, shooter's meeting at 9am, and shooting starts right after.
5 stages, and there WILL be a classifier in this match. If you aren't a member of USPSA, it is just another stage. If you ARE a member of USPSA---it is just another stage. (Plus a little bit more, but that doesn't matter until after the match.)
$18 for the match.
If you already shoot this---bring a friend. If you've shot Steel Challenge or Multigun but not USPSA---come on out and give it a try.
See you there!

Outstanding match today----59 people showed up to shoot!
It was great seeing everyone there, even if no one bothered to introduce themselves. (I was the guy giving the are-we-done-yet-oh-my-god-he-never-shuts-up safety briefing.)
Hopefully Terry will have the results up on the website this evening---we'll post here and on the ENPS Facebook page when that happens.
Good seeing everyone. Now you need to get yourselves practiced up for the multigun match in two week...
;D
JTH:
Scores are up already---and a big congrats to Tom Engel for winning High Overall!

This was my first match and I absolutely had a blast. I focused mainly on not getting DQ'ed, so I'll working on bringing down my time in the future. I encourage everyone to try it out, because it's such good practical experience. I'm even happier that I beat Kozball!

It's a good time, isn't it?
And it wouldn't be a local match if people weren't bagging on someone else...
