Where is the best place to buy ammunition for my M1? Any thoughts?

http://www.odcmp.com/Sales/ammo.htm

Legit M1 ammo, or you can reload a round to come very close to M1 specs.

Since I am not a re-loader, I must purchase. Was thinking of an original can of clips in bandoliers so it could be stored for awhile.

I buy mine from CMP. The last can I bought was $98 for 200 rounds, loose, was about 2 months ago. Hopefully they will be selling some clipped pretty soon.

It is non corrosive and goes bang just fine.

The last clipped bandoleers I bought from CMP was about a year ago. I think it sold out shortly after that.

If you need some to shoot now. The loose is head-stamped from the late 60's to the late 70's all HXP and in very good .30 cal. cans.

The rumor on the CMP forum is they still have some clipped but a very small supply and will not start selling it until the loose cans are gone. Actually the ammo is dwindling fast. I talked to one of the gentlemen at the south store and he said the ammo is going out very fast the last few months.

I am thinking of getting some while it is still available. Price is hard to beat for non-corrosive.
