Which stage should be the next ENPS classifer in 2012?
« on: September 07, 2012, 01:11:24 PM »
Ok, let's put this one up for a vote---what do you want for the next classifier we shoot at an ENPS USPSA match?  There has been a request for something a bit more "field stage" -ish, instead of a strict stand-and-shoot.  So---this poll gives two different choices.  Vote for one, and feel free to leave comments afterward.  (I'll note I'm allowing you to change your vote---but I will be actually counting these up on October 5th.)

Choices:

99-45:  Easy Street  http://www.uspsa.org/classifiers/99-45.pdf

or

99-52: Cash 'n Carry  http://www.uspsa.org/classifiers/99-52.pdf

I'll note that I'm posting this also on the ENPS Facebook page (people can vote using "likes") so if you want to vote twice, make sure to check it out there, also.

Edited to add:  We'll be shooting this classifier in the October 7th USPSA match.

Question about Cash n Carry. When you move into box B, I assume that you will have to kneel to shoot under the crossbar. If you kneel in the box, does the location of your feet matter? My 1st thought is that my feet could be outside the box.

If your feet are outside the box, it is a procedural penalty. If it's determined to be a significant advantage, then 1 procedure per shot when feet outside. If no significant advantage, then just 1 procedural. Keep your feet in the 4 foot wide box  :D

Specifically, everything touching the ground needs to be inside the box.  Matter of fact, if you receive any support from anything outside the box---procedural penalties start up.

Weird example:  the barrel/bar is outside the fault lines---so if you grab the bar with one hand for support as you are shooting under it with the other hand (which no one should do because it is silly) then you'll get procedural penalties for it.

Everything inside the box.

Both have a lot of no-shoots and are a long ways away :(

C'mon---only 14 yards in one case, and a whopping 16 in the other!  Sheesh!

And the no-shoots on one stage are only around 1 paper target and one steel target.

No grumbling!  Humph.

Just wanted to bump this to remind folks to vote---classifier is coming up in only slightly more than one week.

Which one do you want it to be?

I voted 99-52, looks like I unintentionally evened the vote.  ;D

I like both of them though, great selections.

Cheers.
