88 Tactical **FREE** BASIC HANDGUN CLASS OFFERING!

88 Tactical will be offering a FREE 3 hour handgun awareness course each month in an effort to teach students the basic knowledge and skills necessary to safely operate a pistol. Classes will be held at our range in Tekemah Ne. 

Students will need to provide their own .22 caliber handgun along with 50 rounds of ammunition, eye and ear protection. If you don't have a .22 caliber handgun we have a limited number of rentals available. The rental fee is $10, this includes the use of a .22 caliber pistol and ammunition, and must be reserved when registering.

The Sept. class is scheduled on the 23rd. 9AM-12PM and 1PM-4PM. Oct is already full and I will be scheduling Nov soon.

There`s no catch, we`re not going to try to sell you a time share or anything. We are giving away free training as a service to the community and as a way to get new students to see what our facility and Instructors have to offer.

Course Description

This course offers the student new to handguns basic classroom instruction and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Students learn the rules for safe gun handling, pistol parts and operation, ammunition, shooting fundamentals, range rules, two-handed standing positions, cleaning the pistol, and additional opportunities for ongoing skill development.

Initial gun-handling is provided for each student at a comfortable pace, ensuring the critical element of safety at all times.  Following this introductory instruction, the student is then given range time to demonstrate and practice newly learned skills of gun handling.
