Nice looking 1911!

Gifted my dad a SA GI issue 1911 a while back.  As a former serviceman, he was quite happy :).

A nice 1911 is definitely missing from my collection .... but can't decide what style I want etc hehehe.  Not to mention the usual nasty price tag heh.

To repeat, gorgeous! :)

Very nice, I've heard the Springfield Operators are good guns.

I put 50-100 rounds through the GI version, no problems at all.  Cleaning was easy as well.

The prices on Gunbroker for the full rail TRP are crazy.  I have the regular
TRP Operator(half rail) and love it.
