Its based on how good your instructor is.  Great instructor and your permit comes lightning fast.  Lol

I wore my best bespoke Savile Row suit for the photo too. Maybe that helped. Figured if yer gonna get fingerprinted like a criminal, you might as well do it with panache. (Too bad they zoomed in too close to see much of it in the pic.)

The fast turn around tells me fewer people are applying ?    I wonder if during the height of the ammo shortage scare, if people were applying for CHPs in greater numbers ?

The article by John Lott that was recently posted by someone (gunscribe maybe?) indicated CCW permit demand is way up, nationally. Locally it might just be that June is a good month of the year, or simple luck.

Or the NSP is better staffed, or more streamlined/efficient as of late?
