Its nice to finally hear an elected official say that out loud.
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

Good to hear- Proud of her & I trust she'll stick to her principles. Oh for 59 more Senators like her- and about 250 Reps....and a Prez and judiciary and Governor, and school board....well you get the idea.

I like what I heard.  She talks a good talk but I hope she will walk the walk.

Wow, very good interview.  I was nervous about her stand on guns, but I'm not anymore.  She didn't even blink or wiggle on the 2nd Amendment questions.

Excellent interview IMO. It's very refreshing to hear some common sense responses and already taking a stand on current issues.

I definitely like how she drove home the fact, several times, that we should be looking at entitlement programs and spending cuts and "every American knows that".

Fischer really seems to be on the right track.  I have a lot of hope that she will stick to her values once in the national venue.  Somebody like that is what we need in washington, no nonsense, straightforward.  I liked her responses in this video and also in the one posted some time ago when she was campaigning against Kerry.  In that video when asked about 2a issues her answer was so short and to the point compared to Kerry's hemming and hawing trying to make it seem like he was a 'friend to sportsmen'.  I agree with the poster who said we need more people like her in Washington and at home.

I felt that way about Johanns and Fortenberry until 31 December....both seemed to have contracted "Potomac Fever" since voting for a tax increase on the "Fiscal Cliff" debacle.....

Let's hope she has thick skin....she'll be a favorite whipping"boy" of the liberal press if she keeps up talk like that!

She is tough and can handle herself well. It is a huge relief to have someone like her in the senate vs. Mr. Nelson.

It'll be Nice to see our Votes counted for Once

Thanks for posting this. It's very refreshing to hear someone who realizes knee jerk reactions don't solve anything.
