If you are a CCW permit holder or plan to, you have to get the "Posted" app, I don't think it is free but it does show places that you are not allowed to carry in, as well as allows you to update places that you find are no conceal carry!

Some ones on my phone:
Coolest app ever, is Google Sky Map.
Flixster is great for finding movie schedules
Great Clips - If you like cheap haircuts you can check in via the app and skip the wait.
iTriage - great little app for first aid diagnositcs
Facebook (if you're into that kind of thing)
Google Translate.  You can talk into it and it will translate it into any language.  Will even read the translation.
