As I was attempting in hopes of drawing in of the women of our state in personal right to carry, your correct the press didn't have the coverage I had also hoped it would be.

I dont get what you guys are talking about.

Our rally was the lead story on both KLKN (ABC-8) and KOLN (CBS-10/11) last night at 10pm and that is also their lead story right now on their websites.

The right to life march that had probably 4 to 5 times more people attend their rally two hours prior did not even get a mention on Lincoln tv news last night.

I personally think that makes a major statement.

NOW, on the other hand, the Lincoln Urinal Star does not make one mention online anywhere that I can find.  I dont subscribe to the hard copy, so maybe there was something in this mornings paper that is not online yet, but knowing how far left they lean, no coverage at all does not suprise me.

Overall,  I think it was a successful event and was carried out very responsibly.

I carry a gun because a cop is too heavy.  I carry a lot of ammo because I cant run very fast.

KETV 7 in Obamaha had a story on their 6 and 10pm news last night, but I can't find anything on their website about it.

KMTV 3 in Obamaha had a story on their website, but no video.

UK Guardian link to coverage of the many rallies nationwide: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2265174/Gunning-change-Thousands-armed-protestors-gather-state-capitols-pro-assault-rifle-rallies-country.html

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

Hopefully we'll see and increase in numbers here on the NFOA and activism to or reps both State and U.S. wise.... just Like Sen Kinter said to be effective YOU MUST CONTACT Your REP.... contact, contact, contact, contact.... I would think then maybe they'll get the idea. By email, phone, and the letter.

Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom.   J. F. K.

Thanks to everyone who came out! Seems to have generated some serious chatter. I believe it went a long ways towards raising awareness and showing opposition to the current media hoopla.

Sorry I was not able to make it.
