Hey, Barry, run down to Jewell and grab my brother's DJ set-up. ;) I've got a great collection of pro gun music we could play too.  ;)
“It is not an issue of being afraid, It's an issue of not being afraid to protect myself.”
 Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert

Bonehead manuever #1 of my day, I didnt pay attention to FarmerRicks post of their times or check it myself. I drove all the way to Omaha and the store is closed! Rlmoeller sent me a PM saying that he will have a box of T-shirts at the rally tomorrow I gave him your shirt sizes. It's Not a very long drive home from Omaha to Lincoln, but it can be when your wife is smiling and laughing at you the whole time.

Some members want to meet beforehand.

I have the meeting room reserved for us at The Egg and I.

The Egg and I

The room is reserved for 10:30, it is under my name (Scott Barry).

It will fit around 20 people, I will see you there.

I put this on another string, but here are some ideas I have had for signs.  Please make sure that your spelling is accurate.  The media will use anything against us they can.  Some of these are from people on here, sorry I cannot recall who said what.

Its a Right. Not a privilege.

Gun Control is not about Guns, it is about Control

More guns = Less Crime

Gun free zones = Victim concentration camp

Right to bear arms doesn't mean keep them in a safe.

Where the people fear the Govt, there is tyranny. Where the Govt fears the People, there is Liberty

Disarmament always precedes tyranny.

Oh, if guns were illegal no one would have one?  Please, tell me more about how nobody can buy drugs.

There is no Left or Right, there is only tyranny and freedom

Chicago: #1 in gun control, #1 in murder and gang violence.

84,999,989 American Gun Owners killed no one yesterday!

Since WWII ALL but 1 multiple person public shooting occurred in a gun free zone

2191 people are SAVED every day by the lawful use of a firearm.

Firearms are second only to the Constitution in importance: They are the peoples' Liberty's teeth-George Washington

The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws. - Tacitus

The greatest danger to our American freedoms is a govt that ignores the Constitution - Thomas Jefferson

A free people ought not only be armed and disciplined, but they should have sufficient arms and ammunition to maintain a status of independence from any who might attempt to abuse them, which would include their own government. - George Washington

Government is not the solution to our problems, Government is our problem. -Ronald Reagan

Does anyone have a guess at how many of us will turn out? Maybe we should create a new thread with a poll asking who will be attending?

One correction, it's bear arms, not bare.

Yeah, I have been told I misspelled that.  This, after telling everyone to be sure they spell it correctly.  HAHA.  I will laugh at myself, you don't have to.  I was planning to wear a sleeveless shirt to bare my arms.

Wish I could go but my wife just had surgery.

Another idea for a sign:

-Assault is an action not a rifle.

-2nd amendment is already common sense, not the laws to regulate it.

Gun free zones = Victim concentration camp

This, IMHO, is not all that effective, the focus would be on the wording and the dialogue would shift away from the message.

Your probably correct. Feel free to suggest your own. I didn't think on that one very hard or consider the double meaning with that expression.  Like I said, come up with some of your own, if you want to help.  Better yet, show up today with a few and pass them out.  Either way, its all good.  See ya at the capital
