Loved the "made up term" comment, Rod!  Good job.

Nice work. I went by Scheels yesterday for the first time since before Christmas. I could count on my hands the number of centerfire handguns on display. Not an AR in the place and reloading supplies were gone for almost all calibers.

I also stopped by a pawn shop and saw an 94 AWB compliant AR (no muzzle device, fixed stock, no bayonet lug) marked at $2000. I was the only one left besides a Carbon 15 marked at $1900.

Great news article!  I'm wondering, if an AR is selling at a pawn shop for $1900, how much would the pawn shop give the person if he/she sold one to them during this crisis?

My understanding is that the previous owner would have done well if they got 60% of what the gun is sold for. However, I bet that is lower now. I bet the pawn shops and other used gun dealers are trying to offer no more than before the panic buying in case the panic buying slows and they are stuck with the inventory.

I've never sold a gun, but if I did I'd probably try here first and cut out the middle man.

Chief Bilek is a strong supporter of the 2nd Amendment.
Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.
