Interesting- can a state really prevent the Feds from enforcing a Fed law? IIRC the basis for a lot of Fed laws is the Interstate commerce clause.
From what I remember the Feds can use it pretty loosely: just about anything crossing state lines somehow "affects interstate commerce" according to them.

A lot has fallen under the 'commerce' clause lately, no doubt.

The thing that gives the State firearm laws teeth is 2A and 10A.

And yes, the 10A still exists .
