Anything Up in Lincoln?
« on: January 23, 2013, 01:47:51 PM »
Just wondering if places up in Lincoln have anything left

specifically looking for some reasonably priced 9mm, 45 ACP, and of course the elusive 223/556

the sad thing is that Cabelas in La Vista looked pretty cleaned out...

Thanks!

Good luck LT, ain't crap here in town.
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

I second that.  DE Guns had some 9mm in, but was running 14.99 for 50.  Not too bad, but not great either... Haven't checked in a few days though.

Scheels got in some 5.56 last night but I know 2K went out the door before it really even got on the shelf. Not sure if any is left

You almost have to be standing there when they roll out the cart with the ammo for stocking the shelves and it's not just Scheels..   Sets off a feeding frenzy !! :o

DE was about cleaned out today, did have some 45 ACP as I recall.

I checked Seward Walmart, Crete, and Exeter Arms on Saturday, bought the last 2 of $20 box/50 9mm from Exeter, otherwise they're about cleaned out too.

If you're wanting to range shoot, Big Shots and Thunder Alley had about whatever you'd need, range use only, nothing going out the door.  9mm was $17.50 for Federal Range and Target, again not great but beats sitting at home doing nothing...

If only- I had bought lots of ammo during the Bush years...and more reloading components, etc.....nothing like complacency, huh?

It will return, everyone just needs to stop panic buying.

Saw some 9mm once fired brass for sale on Armslist, $50/100.....lol, yeah....

I picked up some Federal 9mm 115 gr. at Walmart near 132nd & L in Omaha Thursday morning.  They have a limit of 3 per customer.  $21.37 per box of 100.

Scheels in Lincoln has American Eagle .223 limit 100 per person for 7.99.  Probably 10k rounds left.
