I just receive a reply from Senator Janssen, and a very cool ph# to follow this through the Nebr LEG... see below and sorry Senator Price don't know how I missed you.............

Daniel,
I appreciate you taking the time to write. I have been overwhelmed by the number of e-mails I've received from all across the state--people like yourself who are tired of seeing the federal government aggressively attack our constitutional rights. This is an issue that affects all of us across the country, so I felt it was important that  we make a stand here in Nebraska and that our voice be the loudest.

I want to remind you that you can help the cause by dialing #250 on your cell phone, and at the voice prompt "options", say "gun rights". This will allow you to receive text updates on the bill as it goes through the legislative process. You can also go to my facebook page and sign the petition to defend our Second Amendment rights here:

Defend The 2nd Amendment in Nebraska

Thank you again for your support!

 Fellow Senators,

I am seeking your support on the following introduced LB-451.  Sen. Janssen addressed that during his interview with CrashDavis today, saying that there will surely be amendments to the bill, but that he needs everyone to contact their Senators in support of the bill in order to move it out of committee. I am doing just that relaying full support to protect residents of our State, their is strength in numbers and ensuring that Freedom is showcased in this State. And that Sen Dubas and Sen Gloor are my reps I wanted all to know my full support as a life long resident minus Military time spent obeying orders on different Duty Stations.

Introduced by Senator Charlie Janssen & Senator Scott Price

I got a text, but I am not in the inner loop, like you guys. Im not on his email list, but I really don't care.  Just happy the support is building for the bill.  There is also a petition going around on FB for support of this bill.  I don't have FB anymore, but was able to click on a link from an email I got from a friend to sign the petition, which I did even though I loath signing anything or giving my name out.  Some risks are worth the exposure.

Huh?  Hadn't heard that.  It's not like LB-451 was the first controversial topic on Crash's show.  Ratings must have been lagging.

No it's been a management/financial problem for the Clear Network stations.  They have been cutting radio hosts for over a yaer now (remember Becca was released from that same time slot a year ago) and trying to replace with "National" types so the can put them in multiple markets.  Looks like the local issues coverage will be taking a downturn.

The committee has not scheduled it for public hearing yet, with the chairman well let's just say he will put it off as long as possible.
