Any ideas as to when the Governor will sign LB430??

Good question, I'm curious about that too.

According to the Legislatures website, the governor has five days excluding Sunday to sign it or to not act on it.  Either way it goes into effect three months after the session ends.  Most likely early Sept.  If he sends it back then it goes back to Select file, I think.  No matter what we should know by tomorrow (Tuesday).

I just got off the phone with the Gov's office.  All the lady would say is that the Gov has 5 full days to review and sign any pending legislation and that today is the 5th day.  When I asked if the Gov was planning on signing LB430, she said that she could not comment on that and to keep an eye on the status on the Unicameral's website for any updates.

We'll just have to wait and see what happens.

OK, so, I just called the Gov's office again, and left a message with his secretary for him to call me about LB430. 
I'll update if he actually calls.
