The law is vague about whether they have to sign or not. Some people interpret it as the CLEO's discretion, some don't. Sounds like the signature is going away eventually anyway.

Go with a trust. That way when you decide to do another item (which you will) you are already covered.

That was my next stop. Signed without any issues. Now I just need to get it in the mail.

After my whole ordeal with someone and them saying the ATF lost my paperwork I was a little hesitant in now having to have OPD’s chief sign off on my suppressor paperwork instead of Dunning but it was available for pick up the next day. :) It's too bad he did this.
