So help me God.

Here is the penalty section:

11-101.02. Oath of office; false statement; penalty.
If any false statement is made in taking either of the oaths prescribed in sections 11-101 and 11-101.01, the person making such false statement shall be deemed guilty of a Class IV felony. Here is the oath that our state legislature members have to take.  It has "support", not "protect and defend" as 101
http://nebraskalegislature.gov/laws/articles.php?article=XV-1

XV-1. Official oath; refusal; disqualification.
Executive and judicial officers and members of the legislature, before they enter upon their official duties shall take and subscribe the following oath, or affirmation. "I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support the constitution of the United States, and the constitution of the State of Nebraska, and will faithfully discharge the duties of .......... according to the best of my ability, and that at the election at which I was chosen to fill said office, I have not improperly influenced in any way the vote of any elector, and have not accepted, nor will I accept or receive, directly or indirectly, any money or other valuable thing from any corporation, company or person, or any promise of office, for any official act or influence (for any vote I may give or withhold on any bill, resolution, or appropriation)." Any such officer or member of the legislature who shall refuse to take the oath herein prescribed, shall forfeit his office, and any person who shall be convicted of having sworn falsely to, or of violating his said oath shall forfeit his office, and thereafter be disqualified from holding any office of profit or trust in this state unless he shall have been restored to civil rights.

It's time we started impeaching legislators, congressmen and senators for violating their oath of office to "support" and "defend" (all other politicians, judges, etc...) the Constitution.   They violate their oath when they propose and/or vote for bills  which infringe that which "shall not be infringed".   With "friends" like that the Constitution  needs no enemies.

Does it matter?  Whoever gets elected is going to face a recall election like the last three.  And hundreds of thousands of dollars gets wasted in the process.   ::)

I'd like to hear her views on "Gun Control" and "Assault Weapons (?!)" first.

A frying pan, baseball bat, hammer, screwdriver, pointy stick, or a rock is an "Assault Weapon" if you attack somebody with it.

If you ban guns you end up trying to ban "Pointy Kitchen Knives", like quack doctors tried (but failed at) in the UK, because "Gun Control" doesn't work. Google it if you don't believe me. Don't walk around unarmed in London at night, either... >:-[

I have the inalienable Human right AND RESPONSIBILITY as a Citizen to defend myself, my family, my neighbors, and innocent bystanders against criminals, psychos, terrorists, gangs, feral dog packs, mountain lions, Sasquatch, or tyrannical government.

It's written in the Constitution in the introduction, and also into the Bill of Rights as the 2nd Amendment. I will challenge any 2nd Amendment lawyer trained in law school to combat me and I will win. I stand for human rights.

My father also mentioned something that's given me a lot of thought, and the funny thing is he has also read "The Art of War" by Sun Tzu.

With most of our troops overseas (on different fronts), our economy in the trash, and disaster after disaster with storms and other catastrophes, why would you want to take guns away from citizens, and FEMA's recommended Disaster Kit doesn't include the most critical survival tool, a good knife?

I think I'm going to dig out those antique McCarthy papers I got at an Estate Sale and take another look at those...
