If you are REALLY desperate for a stripped lower...

Funny thing, everything else that PSA advertises for sale is gone within minutes.  Apparently they can't sell these, even at a discounted price.

The polymers have been in stock for several days now.  The had some 223 in stock this morning too... $60 for 100 round box.
They have regular lowers right now.  $119.99.... $69.99 for the poly

YUP!
The polymers have been in stock for several days now.
...and YUP!

My points exactly, though I was making mine with tongue-in-cheek.  Most lowers wouldn't be in stock for more than a few hours, or more recently, a few minutes.  Apparently the panic is not SOOO bad that people are desperate enough to snatch up the poly lowers.  That speaks pretty poorly of them.

I've built up a couple of them with CMMG lower parts kits(VERY nice trigger on these, BTW) and they seem to be fine as a range-only toy or for a lightweight AR build.

Would I stake my life on these, NO.  But, for light to medium duty use they seem like they will hold up just fine.

YMMV

Hopefully this means the panic is drawing down.  Hopefully.

No, there will be another crescendo as the AWB is voted on, and as the mag limit debates rage on, and again when the Universal background checks are brought up, and then we get to build again for the 2014 elections...this is the new normal

Unfortunately, I'd have to say that Dan is right.  Prices may come down a bit as demand drops a bit, but I don't expect to see any prices like they were 6 months ago anytime soon. More like an up and down wave. Of course, this all goes out the window the next time there's another National Media-Worthy shooting/massacre.

I'm more concerned about the availability of ammo and components than guns/parts.
