CCW 201?
I'm working on it! Really! [sigh] We have a LOT of stuff going on---so what I'm probably going to do is pick some prospective dates, and send them out to the folks who have gone through CCW-101 who said they were interested in the CCW-201 class, and try to find a date that everyone can attend.
I'll let you know now---it'll likely be in June, July, or August. March, April, and May are already booked up.
In other notes---we've done a little restructuring of classes. First off: I've caved to marketing pressure and changed the name of the Fundamentals class to "Shooting Skills." The material hasn't changed---but hopefully I won't hear any more that famous phrase, "No, I'm looking for an
advanced class."
{sigh} Shooting Skills IS an advanced class. It is also fundamental to good shooting. So---since putting "Fundamentals" in the name of the class seems to strike at people's ego, I've renamed it "Shooting Skills." I don't like it, but I'm tired of arguing about it.
Bleh.
We've also ADDED a class. There has been a LOT of requests from us to teach a Handgun Techniques class, for people who have attended a Intro class somewhere, have bought a gun, and done some bullseye/target shooting practice---and want to learn the techniques necessary for actual
practical applications. You know, like self-defense.
So:
Handgun TechniqueThe purpose of the HT class is to teach people good, solid technique for draws, reloads, and fundamentals (grip, stance, trigger control, etc) in the format of practical, self-defense shooting.
...in other words, you've gotten a gun and can handle it safely. You can shoot paper circles on a lane, slowfire. And now---you want to learn correct, efficient technique so that you can actually use the handgun for everything ELSE.
Description:
http://precisionresponse.4t.com/Fundamental201.htmlI've edited my initial post so that our schedule is correct (with class names) and added the HT course we've set for March 8-9th.
If you've got friends who have a gun and are safe, but don't really know what to do besides slowfire on a lane---send 'em over.
As always, registration can be done online at:
