Which shorts for shooting sports?
« on: April 25, 2013, 05:46:14 PM »
Anyone have experience with Blackhawk Warrior Wear Performance Shorts?  I found a deal on them and was wondering if they are good.  I will primarily be wearing them for shooting USPSA.  However, being the fashion whore that I am, I was wondering if these are very short shorts?  I'm not looking for ones that hang down below my knees like the young folk wear these days, but I don't want them much above the knees either.  I figure that if I can't shoot good, at least I can look good.

They'll be fine.  5.11 shorts, Vertex shorts, Blackhawk Warrior Wear shorts---they are all fine.

I KNOW they are fine for you, but are they good enough for ME?  ;D  I don't look good in short shorts. <Insert gagging emoticon here>

Seriously though, thanks.

A slave to fashion.  You've met me so you know what I'm talking about.  Impeccably dressed at all times.  A keen eye for fashion.  If you use your google fu and search for "Fashion Whore" it returns "Fashion Whore: [fash-uhn hohr]: A slave to fashion. See OnTheFly".   ;D

As long as they're short shorts, you're good. (just kidding of course) ;)

You might want to ask Anthony Deboer for advice on shorts, since he wears them to every single match except when it's below freezing out (even then he does sometimes). :P

I prefer the old school 70's shorts, ride em' high and tight. With a gcode drop leg holster of course.

Now I'm all for that, just not on me.

Great, now I have the song from those old Nair commercials running through my head.
