Does Anyone Know Anything About Quads/ATVs
« on: April 24, 2013, 11:24:59 AM »
Does anyone have experience with Quads? I'm interested in an older, low frills/spartan, tough, quad. I'm not interested in going fast. Probably just trail riding/hunting/plowing/snow. I've had my fill of mud, am not planning on driving through deep bogs or swampy areas.

Don't go out an buy this one, in case you're in the market too  :D:

Is this a cheap piece of junk, or a scam?

I've had good luck with Polaris.  Of course, every brand has its following but I've purchased a couple used Polaris quads and had no problems.

No experience with Arctic Cat, but I wouldn't get anything less than a 400 cc for pushing snow.  Low range is an absolute must if you want to push, haul or pull.

As with any used vehicle, look for signs of abuse, leaks, etc.
