Here is my G30S with a few add on's. I do rather like the pinch free external saftey. Night sites are next.

I am sure you all have seen them but thought I would post pics of one next to another sub G26 for shintz n giggles.

I don't know if I would care for the external safety, but I like the looks of the G30S.  I think it would be an excellent concealed carry weapon ;D

Can you explain to me how the "external safety" works on a Glock

I didn't install it a shop did so I cant tell you how they did it.

But if say a kid just pulls the trigger or a bad guy pulls the trigger while you are wrestling or something the Glock will not fire. You have to have the firearm in your hand while applying pressure to the trigger and while squeezing for it to fire.

You do not have to apply any real extra hard effort for it to fire, just a bit more than your basic shooting grip/motion. So you do not really have to think about it. However you cant limp wrist it or as stated just by pulling the trigger it will not fire.

I also save my thumb knuckle and or hand webbing with the beaver tail like curve at the top.

I guess you learn something new every day...I wasn't aware of a grip type external safety for Glocks.

Do you know what brand the kit goes by?

Sorry I dont remember but will find out for you. I like to carry with a clip instead of a true holster so a external set up like that is very beneficial to not engaging on the draw or while putting it in/off the pants.

Sorry I dont remember but will find out for you.

I am familiar with the Cominolli external safety, but your 30 does not have the added lever it requires. And I am familiar with the Grip Force beavertail that your 30 has, but it is not an external safety in any way I understand. I have not found any other explanations in my web searches, so I am very curious just how this external safety on your SF30 works
