I picked this chunk of lead off my jobsite this morning. It was installed in 1917 as a phone line (from what I understood from the utility contractor) so it's been in the ground for a spell. Anyway...I don't know if it's suitable to be melted down and cast, but if it is, it's free to the first person to speak up. This chunk is approximately 1.5'' wide x 4.5'-5' long.
I'm in Omaha and would meet wherever is convenient.
