sale to a relative
(1/1)
Roper:
I have a family member who does not live in Nebraska and I do. I may be interested in selling an AR-15 to him, assuming it is legal. Is there a law that would prevent this sale? I'm guessing there is.....
Dan W:
Roper this is my best recollection, (and maybe an FFL can tell you more) But I am pretty sure that except in cases of inheritance from a deceased person, or from an estate, all interstate transfers must be processed by an FFL .
David Hineline:
Depends upon what state he resides in and thier laws, and if he is picking it up in person from you or if you have to ship it to him.
Roper:
Thanks for the information, I will have him check out his state laws.
