Primer tube filler thing...

Was at Cabela's...

Saw this on the shelf:

Hmmmmmmm...

I know we had discussed this in a different thread somewhere.

And also, for folks, sorry I'm been a bit tied up with real life lately and not too active in the SCIENCE or postings here.

I've followed a few forums where guys are making these. Seems worth it to me.

is hand priming not good enough for you pogs?   :)
It is highly likely the above post may offend you. I'm fine with that.

I really like priming on my single stage press, as opposed to the auto prime on my progressive. Too many sideways, or upside down, or missed because of a piece of powder on the progressive. On the single stage, set it on the little swingout arm, and feel the primer seat on the upstroke. Never fails.

What progressive do you have?

I have a hornady lnl ap, and have never had a sideways primer. I have had powder get stuck in the primer system.

I have the lnl also and never experienced that. I was wondering so I know which press to avoid. I'm assuming its a lee.

Yes it is a Lee five stage, and the least little piece of powder in the feed and it messes up. I seldom use it in progressive mode any longer and use the single stage for priming. Since I am practicing loading for distance shooting and trying to perfect the science of loading, I am not interestd in speed. Now should the SHTF that might change.
