anyone going to watch American blackout tonight? Its on National Geographic at 8 pm,
  from the previews, I don't think they take it serious enough

 its fair. almost. so many stupid people, and I mean DUMB, don't even own a hand can opened. , hell, I carry one in my knife every day, guess some people are that bad. Im just used to having power outages, have a generator and well,
  its just showing how most people will be worthless if anything happens

 well that show was a waste of time, I thought it was gonna be a weekly thing like  the preppers show, NOPE!. 2 hours and its over, all the power came back on

  and the stupid yuppies who didn't have a can opener, just rub the can on cement and wear the crimp off, then pry the lid off

i finally was able to see this.  yea, its got bad and good parts.  for the characters, i think it did a good job on a few aspects... like the guy who wanted to sue his building in the beginning and was totally unprepared and couldn't grasp what was happening.  and the prepper's daughter's boyfriend, i knew he was stupid.  i hope my daughter doesn't date a guy like him....

I just watched it today. It was entertaining but the ending was so so. The series Revolution was recommended to me so I am giving that a go next.

I have one on several of my pocket knifes and Gerber's as well   
Plus I still keep Several P-38s around as well
