Just letting folks know that we already have people registered for every single one of the classes listed---and we have limits on the size for each of those. Even if there is significant demand, I'm still not going to over-fill the classes and skimp of the attention that each student gets.
And we only have so much time to hold classes.
So---if you are interested in any of them, get yourself registered soon. The last Intro class we had filled up QUICKLY, so if you know people who want to get started with handguns, tell them to sign up soon.
I've talked about the Shooting Skills and CQT classes enough in the past, you already know about those.
However, for the Defensive Tactics class, this might be a little different. Yes, there will be some specific technique skills taught in it--but mostly, it is about choices and mental aspects. Yes, we will be shooting quite a bit--but this isn't a class on
how to shoot. (If you don't already know how to shoot, this isn't the class for you.) This is a class on how to stop an attacker
without yourself getting shot, and that is a different topic entirely.
If you don't know the difference, then you REALLY should take this class. If you know what the difference is, but under stress don't know what choices are better for your own survival, then you should take this class.
If you've had previous DT training that was a lot of specialized shooting techniques and such--then you really need this class, because defensive training for most people (meaning people who aren't door-kickers) is NOT about specialized shooting techniques that you learn once and never practice.
Think about taking the DT class.
