I went to the state fair.  I entered through the main gate and saw a posting in a window of one of the three kiosk things.  I checked the others and saw no signs posted on the other two kiosks.  While at the fair I saw little placard things that they place outside the arenas when shows are going on and one of them something to the effect of "no weapons, CCW included".  Thought that was interesting.  Maybe not all the entrances to the fairgrounds are posted and so they feel they have to post an interior portion of an already posted property?  Seems a bit strange to me.

CitizenClark, did you ever hear back from the fair people as to what gives them the authority to post the state fair?

It was also line #2 on their information sign before the ticket booths.
