Dick's Spinoff Store Sells AR15
« on: August 20, 2013, 02:54:24 PM »
From the Huff Post

".Field & Stream, a new outdoors store opened by Dick's Sporting Goods in western Pennsylvania, is selling AR-15 semi-automatic rifles, apparently ending the company's suspension of assault-style weapons sales after December's massacre at a Newtown, Conn., elementary school."

I will never spend a cent in a Dick's store or anything owned by them.

+1, not that I shopped there much anyway, we would would get non-fiream related items there, but I won't be going back.

+1 - never shopped there much anyway, but after late December I vowed to never again darken their door.

Update -- 12:15 p.m.: Shares of Dick's fell Tuesday morning as the company reported lower-than-expected earnings. A Reuters report blamed the weak sales on the summer's cool and wet weather, as well as higher payroll taxes and the job market.

I think the only weather affecting Dick's is the storm is discontent from their former customers. When you alienate a passionate base, prepare for a change in the winds.
