It seems our fight for gun rights never seems to let up...   :angry:

...it's beginning to look like Brad Ashford, who just changed his voter registration from independent to Democrat, has his eye on the attorney general's office, not the U.S. Senate.

Once again, Twitter is the messenger.

"I am registered as a Democrat," Ashford tweeted. "In many ways, the Democrats today committed to moderate solutions are much like the Republicans I know."

And then Democratic State Chairman Vince Powers followed: "Please join us in supporting Sen. Brad Ashford and encouraging him to consider running for Nebraska attorney general."

The facebook page is removing negative comments...I checked it last night and they were about 3:1 against Ashford.  This morning they were all gone.

Where does this guy get the money to continually run for office?  The only person I know who runs more often is Don Stenberg.  He's run for everything except dogcatcher.

dog catcher.  hmmm.   I think that would be a good job for Assford.  someone needs to talk to him about that one.  :)

I left a comment last night and it looked like it vanished as soon as I hit enter.
Left a couple more. We'll see what happens.

It would just be terrible if that page was flooded with comments by people expressing their dislike for him.  Not that I would ever do such a thing....

A poll of registered dogs concludes that after a thorough ass-sniffing, 96% would not support his candidacy.. 4% would need to hump his leg before deciding for or against  :P
