My twelve year old grandson shot his first deer this year on opening morning just before the snow hit. He paid his dues over the last year with time on the range, hunter safety and sitting in the stand last year to see what it all looks like. It all came together when he got his deer with a nice one shot kill. No coaching needed from grandpa.
