X-Treme bullets has 500 223-55gr. FMJ for $47.65
So how does that compare? I don't reload 223 yet, but I'm seeing it in my future.

Re: November
The fix is in. Stock up NOW.
First, though, see if they shoot well enough in your rifle. For me, all the plated bullets I ever tried are terrible compared to jacketed or cast bullets (but .224" cast is too difficult for me to cast and have fun).

I wouldn't shoot cast out of a AR, lead shaves off and will plug the gas port. I did that myself. but I have a couple of bolt guns in .223 so just use the lead there

Thanks for the replies guys, but these were listed as "FMJ". X-Treme makes (or at least markets) a few jacketed bullets for higher velocities.
Moot point though as the sale is over.
