Those have been there for awhile, I can't imagine the market is very large for those, but it would be awesome to own just to own, or just shoot once or twice, coyotes maybe?
there is a huge 50 bmg bolt action target gun for sale at cabelas, its the biggest gun I've ever seen

Scheels in Lincoln is weird about the stuff they do and don't stock. Try finding a holster there for anything other than a Glock or 1911, even though they carry plenty of other brands.

not pimping for sheels, just saying two years ago no way in heck they would have had one in stock for fear of the public/media outcry. "Who needs this weapon for hunting!?! Might as well have Sherman tanks on the showroom floor!"
I remember 4-5 years ago they wouldnt even stock "black" shotguns since corporate felt they were too "aggressive" and would only stock remington / mossberg shotguns in camo. :(

Oh, I agree. I'm glad they have them. Just seems odd, although I guess they're probably effective at drawing people into the store. Heck, I plan to go take a look.

maybe they should carry ar uppers in 50bmg
those are only like $1,500

I agree.
Is there any dedicated range in NE where you could shoot one at distance?
-
Alliance - you can get out to at least 1,000 yards there.
