Title: just snagged a mk3 ruger
Post by: gsd on January 09, 2013, 12:06:10 PM
At scheels in lincoln of all places.  At $250 i couldn't resist. I've had a hankering for one for a while, but it seemed they were bringing a premium for so long I had basically given up.

Anyway, i smell a range trip sometime this afternoon:)

Just had to share.

gsd - If you haven't looked at Dr. Bullseye's stuff, I found it really helpful in upgrading the trigger, sear, hammer, and installing the MKII bushing to get rid of that MKIII mag disconnect "feature" on a 22/45 MKIII: http://www.guntalk-online.com/2245detailstripping.htm. (http://www.guntalk-online.com/2245detailstripping.htm.)  Enjoy the range trip!
