Title: SD Handgun Ammo Performance
Post by: OnTheFly on August 10, 2016, 10:33:10 AM
I'm not sure if this has been posted here, but I thought this was a very interesting source of data for self defense ammunition. Details of penetration in gelatin, expansion, and velocity are given. The only additional thing I would like to see is how much mass retention each bullet had.

Thanks for posting this Fly, very interesting.  It's going to have me trying out a few new loads.

The .380 loads I carry did very well; but, I'll be testing alternatives to my choice in 9mm.

I don't carry my .45 much, but WOW! those Win Ranger T-Series look like something I'm going to have to try.
