28 July 1914 – The 100th anniversary of the outbreak of World War I– Officially, the war lasted until November 11, 1918, but American troops were still running around shooting Russians well into 1919.

Wow, thanks for sharing.....I had to do some research online & I found a lot of interesting articles!

The way that we as a country forget the past dooms us to repeat it over and over again! :'(

I read somewhere recently the banking systen change around that time was somehow tied into the war. 

More war trivia, the last crew member of the enola gay died recently.
