Title: Reading brass for pressure signs
Post by: bkoenig on March 03, 2013, 11:32:30 AM
I posted this on a Facebook reloading group, but I thought it would be a good idea to post here as well.  I know there are a lot of beginning reloaders these days, and one of the things that's absolutely critical is to learn how to read your brass for excessive pressure.

Nice article!  Thanks for the link!
I'm getting back into reloading after a lapse of 50 years, and there is never such a thing as too much info.

I cleaned 500 9MM luger casings awhile back.  I looked them over for signs of over pressure.  I found cratered primers, flattened primers, breech impressions and slight bulging on about 50 cases.
