Title: LB390
Post by: wcr on March 26, 2014, 09:59:34 PM
Just got an NRA-ILA Alert saying LB390 was going to be considered by the state legislature tomorrow.

LB390 - Change provisions relating to Governor's powers regarding restrictions on firearms and ammunition under the Emergency Management Act.

This bill was introduced by Mark Christensen (44) would in its amended form  strike the word “firearms” from the list of items the Governor may suspend during a declared state of emergency.  The bill would prevent the taking/confiscation of legal firearms as happened during Hurricane Katrina.

They are requesting we contact our state senators in support of the bill.
