Title: Mini Vacation
Post by: tufftrav on April 15, 2012, 12:42:15 PM
I have a wedding to attend to at the end of the month in Louisville, KY from my understanding KY honors my NE CCW permit, but due to my route it will take me through Illinois, and they don't Honor my NE CCW permit at all. Without going an extra distance to drive around the state. What are my options for keeping my gun with me to protect my family and friends during the trip? Would i be breaking Illinois Law if i unloaded and locked the weapon in the trunk? as i drove through IL? What is everyone's opinion on this? Thanks

Find the actual law, print a copy and put it in your glove box!

The most important  thing...Always drive lawfully!   ;D
