Just downloaded the concealed carry permit from the NSP website and see that it needs a notary. Is there a special place I can go that will have a notary since I don't personally know one? And can I fill out the form and just leave the signature blank until I find a notary? I have my class with Chris Zeeb this coming weekend and would like to turn in the form the following day. Thanks in advance!

Cool. I'm going to that same class!
Anyway, I've just gone to my nearest bank branch location -- they usually have a notary on hand. Sometimes the little ones in the grocery stores will have someone there, too, but I would stick to the bigger locations.

Hey I look forward to meeting you! Btw I just read through Chris' site and found that he provides notary services! Problem solved

Your Bank will have a notary or your insurance company generally have one of there employees are a notary.

I got lucky and had a notary in my class. After passing she notarilized my application.
Im not for sure but some notaries will charge a small fee. Besides the chp app. Ive only had one thing notarized and i cant remember if she charged me.

The woman who rolled my prints processed the forms for renewal and took my pictures was also a notary so she handled it for me.

Chris Zeeb is a notary and performs that function in his class for both the NE CHL and the Utah CHL if you are taking that at the same time.
