Title: Odd "Signage" at HS
Post by: RobertH on August 26, 2013, 12:57:30 PM
this "signage" is posted on a few doors of my HS alma mater and has been posted for awhile now.  while i know we can't carry at schools, this is pretty ridiculous.  and here's a kicker, all the doors this is posted on, are locked.  the unlocked door that people go in, doesn't have this posted.  another reason we need uniform signage and placement.

WOW!
Redundantly redundant?

Is there ANY Sign of sorts on the front door?

This may be a chance for polite education on the law.
Since the law states No Carry in Schools nothing is really necessary to be posted, IF they want to post a 'friendly reminder' it REALLY should be on the main entrance for sure-  conspicuous.

My mom always said, "If you can't say anything nice ...."

I took the sign as reassurance to those who are non-CHP holders and not in the know of the law.  I am wondering if a parent came to them with the ignorant fear that a CHP holder might try to carry at the school.
