Title: Smith and Wesson M&P 45
Post by: akclark on February 05, 2011, 12:01:42 AM
First of, even with the 10+1 rounds, it is still lighter than my SA 1911 GI. I paid 25 dollars more for it than I paid for my GI. The sights are better. The weight feels better. It has ambi safeties. The adjustable grip lets me customize for the shooter. It felt better than the SA XD 45 Tactical that was the same price.

You made a good choice. I have 2 M&P's one in .45 and 9mm.

I love my M&P 9L.  M&P's are great guns.  Once I put an Apex sear in mine it was just about perfect.

Yes, I never thought I would like a polymer-framed pistol, but to be honest I believe it is my favorite.

The new gen of polymers has caught my eye as well.  The trigger on the M&P can be made surprisingly crisp.
