Title: Cart Before The Horse, or How I Blew Off Ernie Chambers
Post by: Gary on March 21, 2013, 03:46:27 AM
On the way to the legislature today, I decided,  for whatever reason, to go to a gun store in the neighborhood.

A month or so ago, as I wondered through Wal-Mart,  I picked up 500 rounds of .40S&W ammo. The strange thing, cart before the horse, I don't own a 40 smith.   So for a month, I have been trying to locate a conversion barrel for my Glock 20 in 40 smith.  Not an easy task in store bare America these days. Internet also was a strike out.

Then on the way to the rally yesterday, I get this notion to try a little gun shop.

I followed my hunch, and sure enough, this little shop had what I wanted.

They also had a match grade barrel in 10mm.  Both were KKM Precision and looked to be new at used prices.

So I was able to rectify my cart before the horse problem.

If you can't find it, Jeff has it.

Yeah, Jeff's got all kinds of weird (and cool) stuff at his shop.  Nice guy, too...
