Post by: Hank on March 10, 2013, 08:55:45 PM
This is almost but maybe not quite the best I was able to get 55g bullets to group with the DPMS

That bench does not have enough clutter, when are you putting more stuff on it?

Looks good Hank.  That's at 100 yd I'm assuming?  What kind of optics/sights on the rifle?

Most likely I `uncluttered` just for the picture.
Scope on that rifle is Burris FFII 4.5-14 x 42(?) I have shot some really good groups with that particular rifle and scope, but I have kind of lost confidence it. The scope took quite a impact a few years ago when I slipped and fell on a patch of ice. Sent the scope back to Burris 2x

This kind of tells the story about when I slipped on the ice.
Nothing wrong with DPMS altheman2 This one has 20" Bull Barrel and JP Trigger.
This type of group (good one in picture) is not uncommon w/ 50g V-Max or 60g SierraHP
