http://bluffsshooters.com/gun-show/
Rather interesting that they hold this gun show in a prohibited place.
-
how is the Scottsbluff County Fairgrounds in Mitchell, NE. prohibited?
-
It's posted as such.
-
Not uncommon. The building at Columbus Ag Park where CRC holds its show is posted.

So are we going to be arrested for CC'ing to a GUN SHOW? Or even OC'ing? If so, I'll pass on gun shows.
-
the reason many (or all) gun shows prohibit carrying is based on insurance. specifically, NRA based insurance.
SHOT Show bans CC/OC.
i guess its a necessary evil.
will you be arrested? who knows..... but i wouldn't want to find out.

I post a lot of gun shows here. its not bad here, but when I post on
facebook, the same bunch of people cry and moan that shows are posted "No Carry" its not the shows fault, the ONLY place you can get gun show insurance, is Brokered by the NRA. but its from Lloyds of London, no one else will touch it.
you also cant reload ammo there or do gunsmithing, plus a whole list of other things I cant remember,
also not supposed to bring in outside food or drink, but I drag in a cooler to every show I go to.

Insurance is difficult to find and getting tougher all the time. Not many will support Gun Shows. It's not required yet but all are now asking if the promoter requires a million dollar policy be maintained by all who rent tables. No show that I know of enforces the no concealed carry unless there is a complaint. In those instances they have asked the person carrying to remove the firearm from the building.

Got caught at Ft. Calhoun a couple of years back. It wasn't printing either, maybe he asked everyone if they were carrying.
