What is the best tactical defense against this deadly kind of assault? Is it happening in Nebraska yet?

I have not heard of this happening in Nebraska yet.  Could be and just not being given any coverage.

It's very unfortunate that he didn't get shot dead.

You'll just have to increase your situational awareness. Keep an eye out for people who seem to be giving you a bit too much attention. Groups of youths...

Watch your back, that's for sure. People that do this are evil, and can't be reasoned with.
